Mes Dames!

I like the romantic style "Mes Dames". It is very feminine and sensual because the veils and the fall of the fabric makes it elegant vintage with a touch of innocence.

Domestic Perspectives

Thinking about the future how will be, one of the ideas that came to me is the way we live. The enclosure program of “house” will be changed and cities should be bigger with more people. In a positive perspective, the trend will be eco-friendly but with smaller space for living.
One of the differences with the way we live is going to be the concept of “house”. We will develop a “smart house”: referring to a house automation that is monitored by electronic devices programmed to control the functions of the house, such as lighting, temperature, security and house chores. This technology already exists but only for affluent people and is so expensive that it has not justified investment in that technology. However, with the development of green-technology, it will democratize.
This green-technology has the particularity of using a net-work-system based on feedback and energy monitoring. This means for example, taking the energy of the sun to warm water and heat the house and also automatic house chores. You have a network system that controls when the lights go on and off, when the oven cooks dinner, etc. In this way, we can save 30% on electricity bills, conserve energy, and not continue to ruin the planet. In addition, the home automation can be especially useful for elderly and disabled people who want to live independently.
Another transformation about the way we live will be the economy of space. …”The Americans have about three times the amount of space we did 50 years ago…”[1] This means that they are so good consumers, but the stuff are accumulated in personal storage, they don’t have more space in place they live. If we are aware of this situation, we can rethink the space as multifunctional with space-efficient because of lack of space. Such as a typical contemporary department home-office, were the living room need to be optimize with a folding-table for dinner and business meeting, hide the bed in the wall, etc.
“Smart houses” are the beginning of saving precious natural resources, and helping people to live more comfortably. Even though, the lack of space, we can rethink the space as multifunctional with combining functions. This produces more freedom, saves money, and increases mobility for our selves.
